Bar is back: Fido launches Nokia 6300 in Canada

Fido Nokia 6300Slim and stylish Nokia (NYSE: NOK) 6300 phone is now being offered by Fido in Canada. For $100 with a 3-year contract, Fido subscribers could get one of the most beautiful Nokia phones ever made. It’s 13.1mm thin and has a candybar form factor. Plus, there’s QVGA screen that can display up to 16 million colors, Bluetooth support, media player and microSD expansion slot.

“As a young and urban brand, Fido is bound to be the first to introduce the Nokia 6300 in North America,” says Patrick Hadsipantelis, Fido’s VP of marketing. “The bar is back! And this sleek, stylish yet so simple to use bar-phone reflects the essence of our brand: it is smart from every angle” he added.

    My only comment or question is why one ‘me in particular’ can’t use songs as in songs collected through blue tooth in the fido nokia 6300 as his or her ringing tone.
