Wondering how will the next generation of mobile phone look alike? Sure you do – we all do. Students from the College of Art, Science and Engineering’s product design course think they may have an answer — they’ve created six concept phones to support “intimacy and sensuality”, posted on the website of alternative mobile phone vendor phone | not phone. What do you say? Any other ideas?

The Boom Tube allows people to make music together
The Aurora allows young users to convey emotional messages through a variety of light patterns
The Hive allows friends to connect with a combination of lights and sounds
The Eo Una sends a loved one a ripple to convey emotions
The m:essage comes with it’s own unique phone number to be given to a special person
