Playing music through mobile phones

While mobile phones are known as a notorious audience distraction at musical performances, there are some contemporary artists that use them as musical instruments to add that “handset tune” into rock, hip-hop and even modern classical music. The Wall Street Journal has an interesting story on the subject, even showcasing few examples like the contemporary classical musician Bora Yoon and Austrian rock band Handydandy. It’s a good read — to know just how mobile phones are influencing and ultimately changing the world around us.
