Following the KDDI summer collection announcement, Softbank (OTCPK: SFTBF) unveiled its line of new handsets. The idea seems not to release just a single device, anyone can do that, but a bunch — making sure there something for everyone. Unfortunately, in other parts of the world, we hardly see anything new released for the summer. Anyway, let’s roll with the handsets…

- Sharp FULLFACE 913SH is touted as world’s first “full flat, full slide” handset with one-seg mobile TV receiver. There’s also a 2 MP camera and HSDPA radio.
- Toshiba (OTCPK: TOSBF) X01T is a Windows Mobile smartphone sporting HSDPA radio, 3″ QVGA display and the fingerprint reader.
- HTC X02HT – we’ve already wrote about this version of the popular HTC Excalibur (aka T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) Dash)
- Toshiba fanfun 815T is the world’s most customizable handset. 12 case colors, 300 panel colors, and 30 illumination schemes give users 240 million possible configurations. There’s also HSDPA and FeliCa.
- Sharp 912SH is a thin clamshell device, boasting the high-quality 3″ display, one-seg mobile TV tuner and HSDPA radio.
- Panasonic (NYSE: PC) 810P should be available in the next few weeks. Nothing special here – it’s one of those “easy to use” phones. And yeah, it’s only 12.9 mm thick.
- Toshiba 912T has everything a user can wish – 3.2 MP camera, one-seg TV tuner, a GPS, and the 2.8″ “Wide Clear Screen”. You’ll have to wait for the early August to get one.
- Toshiba 814T is thinner than the 912T model (12.9 mm), yet it comes with less features. For instance, there’s 2 MP instead of 3.2 MP.
- Sharp 816SH is yet another great little “easy to use” fella’. HSDPA and 2 MP camera are on board.
- Sharp 814SH will certainly be promoted as a tech savvy ladies’ best friend. There are great-to-use dome shaped keys, as well as the HSDPA radio for high-speed data transfer.
- Sharp 815SH is very similar to the previous (814SH) model just it’s more gender neutral. The metal casing also promises higher level of durability.
- Sharp GENT 812SH s aims to get its market among senior citizens of Japan. In that sense, extra large fonts, simple menus and big buttons should be among the key selling points of this device.
- Samsung 805SC is touted as the world’s thinnest one-seg mobile TV enabled phone. It has a slider form factor and thickness of just 13.5 mm.
And at the end, enjoy the photos from the Softbank’s site. (via: engadget)
