Leading mobile phone accessories manufacturer Parrot announced the new car-kit, PMK5800, touting it as the “first Bluetooth car-kit with no installation for both hands-free calling and musical entertainment, with the audio quality of an advanced installed car-kit.”
As any car-kit, the PMK5800 is easy to use — simply place it in any 12V accessory plug like your cigarette lighter, and you’re ready to go. The difference is that Parrot’s new car-kit uses FM emitter allowing users to enjoy clear and full duplex conversations directly on their car speakers via the car radio.
In development of PMK5800, Parrot used the “best-in-breed” technologies, usually reserved to embedded car-kits, like advanced digital signal processing (DSP), noise reduction and echo cancellation software, voice recognition and FM scale detector.
The Parrot PMK5800 will be available in shops and on Parrot’s online store this summer for an MSRP of 89 EUR.
