AT&T announced pay-as-you-go packages under the GoPhone brand, which for the first time include night and weekend minutes, messaging and MEdiaNet options.
The carrier’s new plans will offer voice packages with 3,000 night & weekend minutes for only $19.99, messaging packages that start at 200 messages for $4.99 and go up to 3,000 messages for $19.99, and data options with 1MB at $4.99 and 5MB at $9.99. Messaging packages include text, IM, picture and video messages. Night and Weekend minutes are available from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. on weeknights and from 9 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Monday on weekends. The 3,000 night and weekend minutes package is available only for unlimited talk plan subscribers.
