The theory behind DoCoMo’s latest handset initiative is clear - if it’s good enough for video games, it’s good enough for mobile phones. The Japanese largest carrier is planning to incorporate gesture recognition technology into some of its handsets.

Apparently, some of the devices from the FOMA 904i range will be upgraded with GestureTek’s technology, which uses phone’s camera to follow such movements as shake, rock, and roll.
