Verizon to release Treo 755p, 800w this summer

By Dusan Belic on Thursday, June 7th, 2007 at 2:20 AM PST In Devices, Palm, Verizon

Verizon Wireless - TreoVerizon is preparing a surprise for all the Treo fans out there this summer. First, they will launch the 3G-enabled Palm (NSDQ: PALM) OS-based Treo 755p in July, which is also carried by Sprint (NYSE: S). Following that, the carrier will also release Treo 800w in late August. The former Treo is touted as the successor of the popular 700w/wx models, and will probably include the WiFi support — or at least that’s what we’re hopping for.

Anyhow, the upcoming summer may be hot, but Treo lovers could expect some refreshment coming from Verizon (NYSE: VZ) Wireless. (via: gadgetsonthego)
