MocoNews is reporting that the CEO of the now-defunct MVNO is no longer going to have a CEO placard sitting on his desk. As you probably remember, Amp’d recently filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection – their teen subscriber-base just wasn’t paying up on their bills (who woulda thought teens weren’t going to be responsible?). But, as these things go, Chapter 11 filings are intended to protect a company while it undergoes restructuring within the internal ranks – with the most visible organizational change being the outting of Adderton as Chief. While the former-CEO still holds a majority share int he company and still sits on the board, Amp’d President Bill Stone will now take the helm of the battered ship they call Amp’d Mobile.
