OmniVision launches 3 megapixel cameraphone sensor with image stabilization, Michael J Fox rejoices!

Great Scott! OmniVision is currently sampling a quarter inch image sensor that can fit into current 8 x 8 mm sockets on mobile phone motherboards. Device manufacturers currently using 2 megapixel camera sensors could just drop this in and it will seamlessly work. This bad boy does 3 megapixels and best of all: image stabilization!
