Baresite makes mobile web-browsing “bare-able”

Baresite makes mobile web browsing faster and more convenient by stripping unneeded content through the web-based browserDon’t you hate when web sites get displayed all funky-monkey after taking soo long to load up? Apparently, so does Baresite. Their new browser will route all web-pages through their proxy server and strip them of “unneeded content” – in hopes of speeding up page-load times and making small-screen viewing more “bare-able” (get it?). According to Baresite, average web pages are compressed up to 90% – now that’s impressive!

The Baresite mobile browser is web-based, so no need to download any applications or even register for the ad-free browser. Simply visit Baresite and enter the URL of the page you would like to see on your mobile device. The Baresite browser will direct you to the “stripped” version of your intended web-site. How easy is that?

This seems like an interesting take on the mobile browser market. While Opera Mini 4 (Dimension) launched to great fanfare recently, the software requires you to download and install onto the device. Baresite requires no download or installation.
