FCC outs ZTE C88 mid-level phone for MetroPCS

MetroPCS to pick up Chinese ZTE C88 as a mid level feature phoneSo it looks like MetroPCS will be picking up the Chinese-made ZTE C88 feature phone, from, well, ZTE. The FCC shows us a slim clamshell that sports a slightly RAZR-esque exterior with dual color displays (interior and exterior). The backlit keyboard also has a slight resemblance to the RAZR keypad, but its more subtle.

Don’t expect too much from this middle-of-the-pack flip-phone - you get a camera, stereo Bluetooth, USB data port, speakerphone and a microSD card slot.

Eric, it may be that you didn’t charge you phone properly when it was new, you are not suppose to charge the phone until it die and them re-charge it, I did what the manual said 3 times and I can have my phone w/out charging for 2 days..

It is weird, but this phone has a memory inside the battery compartment yet it is not funtional to input an SD card. It looks it is there for future planning…that is not fair….

    • Eric says:

      I meant a memory slot for a memory card….

    • Raidium says:

I have to agree with Brandon Williams up there. They need to invest there money into some sort of smart phone. i’ve never liked the MetroPCS phone line up and I know alot of people that share the same feelings. i’m sure they would do alot better with a smart phone in the mix! :D

    • Mo says:

    • Lisa says:

I just got this phone three months ago. SAVE YOUR MONEY! IT”S A PIECE OF SH_T. It stopped working in two months, I took it to the metro pcs store and they wouldn’t give me my money back. They only offered me a stinking ten dollars. This is a RIP OFF!

    • Junib says:

I got this phone in Feb. and I haven’t any problems with it. My only issue is I downloaded a couple of ringtones from a site using the browser on my phone but I can’t find then on the phone itself anywhere. Does anyone know anything about downloading to this phone. It was mp3 tones that I downloaded.
