iPhone to be used as an Apple TV remote control?

Update: This patent is older than I thought, Will already covered it way before I even joined IntoMobile. He is so the iPhone addict in the group. 

The folks over at CrunchGear think that is the case according to a new patent filed by Apple. I can totally see a scenario where you can read more about the program you’re watching on your iPhone, just like a Microsoft Sideshow remote can do that now.
