Another day, another iPhone news. Actually, the day just started so expect even more news in the coming hours. As you’re probably aware, it’s still not clear how much the iPhone will actually cost. Yes, we know that Apple and AT&T will sell the device for $499 for 4GB, and $599 for 8GB version with a 2-year plan. However, what we don’t know is what kind of a plan will be required in order to grab the Apple’s flagship product. AT&T mentioned rolling out of the special iPhone plans, but when? Customers need to know what they’re getting into with the iPhone. It’s not just five or six hundred bucks — we’re talking about 2-year commitment here.
Now, we have AT&T spokesman Mark Siegel clearing things up, at least a bit. He stated the potential customers would know the details “before the 29th,” and that they should not expect “anything exotic.” Have I just heard a flat rate data will be available for less than hundred bucks? Guess we’ll have to wait…
