CECT5700 – Chinese Nokia 5700 XpressMusic clone

Ooops!… they’ve did it again… I’m talking about Chinese handset manufacturers, ripping off the popular phone models. Latest in the series blatantly resembles the Nokia 5700 XpressMusic, and is called CECT5700 — no need to hide, huh?
In terms of specs, this device goes almost head to head with the original Nokia (NYSE: NOK) phone, even boasting a larger 2.6″ QVGA touchscreen that can display up to 16 million colors. There’s also a 2 MP camera and the microSD expansion slot.
But wait, I’m not saying that you should go and buy this phone, rather I’m trying to warn you to EVADE it. After all, Nokia is all about quality, while I couldn’t say the same for the CECT-made clones…
