InfoSpace’s location-based search service is already known to many mobile phone users for its quick access to key information and the relevancy of search results (powered by FAST engine). Earlier this month they’ve partnered with Virgin Mobile to provide its subscribers with the ability to search the web and WAP sites, as well as Virgin Mobile’s own portal and mobile storefront.
Now, the search service provider is looking forward to ride the iPhone wave – to bring its services to the iPhone users. In that sense, they’ve prepared a special iPhone-style mini-site that gives users of the Apple’s handset access to InfoSpace Find It! page. From there, users can access various kinds of information or search for them in a simple manner. Best of all, thanks to the Apple’s “Web 2.0 app rule” you can already see how InfoSpace’s new service looks like.
