CECT T100 – the first Chinese biometric phone

Again, it’s the Chinese handset makers that are getting better and better. Now, they’ve made their first phone equipped with the fingerprint scanner, which could be used for such security functions as encryption and anti-theft tracking. Aside from the biometric hardware, this device also boast a 2.4″ 262k-color QVGA touchscreen, 1.3 MP camera, media player and the microSD expansion slot. It’s also interesting to add that the CECT T100 comes with the huge 2000 mAh battery, as well as the matching leather case. It measures 115×56.4×14.7 mm and weighs 125 grams.
