Sony Ericsson Px concept

Here’s another Sony Ericsson (NYSE: SNE) all-touchscreen smartphone concept. Designed by the Esato member “Mobile12″, this device has “dot keypad” on the screen instead of the real buttons that should provide users with some kind of keyboard feedback. The idea seems to bridge the gap between the virtual (on-screen) and the physical keyboard.

Other than the image above, we don’t have any other information. However, as it’s the Symbian UIQ 3-based device, I won’t be wrong to add that it comes with the built-in WiFi, Bluetooth, two cameras, and almost 500 additional applications to choose from. The design could be better though…

That’s a great idea!!! Type writer and computer keyboards have done this for decades with a little bump on J and F so you know where to put your fingers without looking… it’s a brilliant concept for a phone if they could make it transparent enough not to interfere with full screen video or images.
