Sprint announces LG Muziq – successor to the Fusic

In the face of Apple (NSDQ: AAPL)’s oncoming music-phone blitz, Sprint has announced the successor to the Fusic music phone – the LG Muziq. LG has basically updated the Fusic with sleeker lines (internal antenna), touch sensitive music controls on the external face (with vibration feedback), and support for SDHC microSD cards.
The Fusic’s 1.3 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, FM transmitter, and microSD slot are all carried over to the Muziq. But, now the SDHC compaticle microSD slot will support up to 4GB microSD cards – rivaling the Apple iPhone’s storage capability. And, for $99 (with contract), this music-phone is sure to be with those unwilling to make a $600 dent in their checkbooks. Look for LG Muziq to drop on July 15.
