Ubixon UBHS-PH2 Bluetooth headset can display SMSes and song titles on its screen

Now that’s what I call a cool headset — not small, but useful.

Korean developer of “ubiquitous portable consumer devices” Ubixon announced its UBHS-PH2 headset, touting it as one of the first Bluetooth headsets that delivers visual information such as SMS and song titles on its small Interferometric Modulation (IMOD) screen. Furthermore, this baby also features the XEN 3D Sound solution offering five distinctive sound effects, echo cancellation and noise suppression.

The problem is how to use (read from) this screen while driving. Seems like an accident waiting to happen. Any ideas? On the other hand, the UBHS-PH2 may not be designed for using in your car… Check out the full release after the jump.

SEOUL, Korea – Ubixon Co., Ltd., a developer of ubiquitous portable consumer devices, today unveiled the latest design in its family of Bluetooth(R) stereo headset products. The new UBHS-PH2 headset will be the first to feature an Interferometric Modulation (IMOD) display from QUALCOMM (NSDQ: QCOM).

UBHS-PH2 supports Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR and is one of the industry’s first Bluetooth headsets capable of delivering visual information — such as SMS and song titles — all presented as icons on the main screen. The display allows users to view information in a wide variety of viewing environments, including bright sunlight. In addition, the new headset features the XEN 3D Sound solution offering five distinctive sound effects, echo cancellation and noise suppression, to provide a comfortable listening environment.
