This Windows Mobile application looks quite impressive. It aims to solve the problem of inputting text into a mobile phone. While some people opt to get smartphones just for the QWERTY functionally and others remember the T9 alphabet, some people actually try to innovate.
Not much to say about this blatant violation of copyright laws. It has a 2.6 inch screen with 260,000 colors, 1.3 megapixel camera and weighs less than 85 grams. Too bad it doesn’t have a QWERTY keyboard, it might not have sucked so hard.
The LG KG280 is exactly like the KE800 except for a smaller screen and different keyboard. Without a contract you can expect to pick this guy up for a little under 150 Euros. It will be a triband device (900/1800/1900) with a 262,000 color screen and be available in either black or “wine” red.
We hope you saw it! Into iPhone just got interviewed live on Fox 11 News Los Angeles! We didn’t get the coverage recorded with our video camera – but we did broadcast it LIVE via our streaming webcast!
If you missed it, that’s too bad. Stay tuned as the hype gets bigger and bigger! It’s Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) iPhone launch day, people!
We’re a bit delirious at this point, so excuse the exclamations!
Take a picture on your camera phone and if you like it you can have it sent to (almost) any address in Europe. It doesn’t stop at pictures either, you can get a mug, shirt, pillow cases and other “fun items.” Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo was not kidding when he said he wanted to make Nokia (NYSE: NOK) known not only for their devices, but also their services.
Prices don’t appear to be too bad either, a 9×12 cm print is 16 cents with shipping roughly $3.40 (prices converted from British currency).
Helio has this thing called “Helio Up.” Think of it a set amount of space for you to upload whatever it is you recorded at that party last night. On Monday things are changing, pictures can be sent to your Flickr account and videos can be sent to YouTube. This is effectively an American Nokia (NYSE: NOK) N95, but only if it wasn’t for the horrible browser.
All of coworkers, well ex-coworkers now, upgraded to the Ocean the minute it landed. They all love it.
More than 30 Chinese characters appear to be drawn incorrectly on some Nokia (NYSE: NOK) devices. This has upset Zhang, previously a teacher and he is now asking for a little under $42 in compensation.
Why so little? I have no clue.
Why did Nokia mess up in the first place? You try reproducing what looks like art on something with such a low resolution display.
Always destroy your enemies ability to communicate and they will crumble. Who knows whether or not this will stop the protests in Iran, what we can establish is that SMS is very powerful and not just 160 characters of gibberish, unlike Twitter’s 140 characters of sheer nonsense.
Apparently network speeds have increased for AT&T (NYSE: T) customers. Perhaps they read the early iPhone reviews that seemed to praise everything except the browsing experience over cellular. We’re looking at upwards of 200 kbps here, I’ve never been able to break 180 kbps as a T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) customer.
