Slingplayer Mobile for Palm OS

Sling has finally graduated its SlingPlayer Mobile client for Palm OS from beta to retail! The retail version, which goes for about $30, completes SlingMedia’s SlingPlayer Mobile lineup. With clients on Palm OS, Windows Mobile 5.0, and the recently released Windows Mobile 6.0, they’ve got the entire gamut of smartphones covered. Oh, except for S60 users. That’s ashame.

So, if you’ve got a 3G smartphone and a SlingBox, you’ve got place-shifted TV at your fingertips. Palm Treo 700p and 755p users will also be glad to know that they can access their SlingBoxes through their mobile phones.
