Chinese Nokia N95 clone with a laser pointer

160 bucks may not get you the Nokia N95, but the latest in N95 clone series is available for exactly that amount. Don’t expect half of the N95’s features, rather Chinese (who else) have packed 2 MP camera, 3″ QVGA touchscreen, Bluetooth, FM radio and microSD card into this blatant rip-off. Plus, there’s a laser pointer - something that even Nokia’s all-in-one device lacks (not that it actually needs it). Furthermore, unlike the original N95, this “version” doesn’t sports Nokia’s dual-slider mechanism and is thus quite larger — it measures 118×58x18.6 mm while weighing 108 grams.
Please note that we DON’T want to encourage you to buy a rip-off device - we support handset manufacturers in their efforts to protect their respective brands. The reason we write about clone devices from time to time, is to warn you NOT to go this way. After all, it’s hard to imagine such clone device coming even close to the real brand device in terms of quality and reliability.

hi there for all the people wanting drivers to connect there nokla n95 theres no need as if you turn off the phone and plug it into ya usb it automaticly connects and you can then brouse it just like and extra drive and add files by drop and drag or copy n paste its as easy as that ,also connect the usb when phone is turned on this acts as a charger hope this helps cheers paul

download driver for MT6227 from here mostly chiness phone uised this chip . http://chuii170313.sinaman.com/MT6227.zip download it & you can use PCSyncManager for chines N95 & other phone only through bluethouth not from data cable if need my hepl tell me .
after download unzip it then click on driver folder after that chose ur operating system driver like i have xp then chose 2K_XP_COM open the folder then u got a file usb2ser_2k. right click on it & then chose the option install. after that in MT6227 folder you see a setup.exe file run it after all restart ur pc.
Now plug ur bluethouth & on ur mobile bluethooth also & pairing it with passkey fetures only . after all that click on bluethoot icon from where u got the information what com ports used for incoming or outhgoing mostly com 23& 25 used for outgoing & com 24 used for incoming coneection. now click on PCSyncManager on ur pc go on settings chosee the port & enjoy PCSyncManager
Now if any one know how i load theams, games & other mobile application in N95 Chiness phone please let me know.

Hi all If any one can help with my Problem.
i have n95 nokla and i recived a file from my frien throug Blutooth and befor reciving the photo the phone started to hang and know i am not able to use it .
i try to stop the Blutooth but i cant it will start for 3 sec and stop and then it will again start for 3 sec and stop like this i cant do any thing and when some one calls me it will give him switch off .

It’s the best Nokia clone ever made. But there are some complexities in downloading games and other softwares. To download software in n95 clone, install the PCSyncManager (MT6227). And then you would require to install java on your mobile. Nokla PC Suite is another solution to this.

I succesfully downloaded the Pc Sync Manager (MT6227), But the problem is still the installaion of Java apps on the phone with the Pc, It complains of being unable to install java with the “Install java on phone” option.

Hi, I didn’t buy my phone as a N95 clone I bought it as a China only mobile which has features the european phones don’t.
Both sims work at the same time and all works fine. These phones also run NES game roms, or at least the one I got does

All I can say about my model is that you need to think of the phone more as an mp3/mp4 player with mobile capabilities as opposed to a western mobile.
I like the simple versitility rather than PDA solution type phones.
There is no indication of any Java compatibility on my version. There maybe a section under game sim where they maybe java compatability but the menu has 3 options which are chinese of sorts. this is where option 1 is the NES emulator on mine.
as for adding software I presume this is added in the firmware of these phones making it an hardware issue and not possible.

I would first identify if your phone is a clone/copy or not then if it is treat only as a copy (look a like)and assume no software from western company will work on it.
look at your phone for the positive side if it has any. All becuase it was made in China doesn’t make it crap only if it was sold to decieve you.
Of course there are many bad sellers, like I have bought iPod shuffle copies which i Knew were copies so when I found they had hacked firmware I removed the batteries and binned. Not worth the hassle of looking for flash to fix.
If I boght my phone as a Nokia N95 yes I would be pissed, but as I bought as a Chinese N95 mobile I find it has good benefits like stereo bluetooth

My phone also wil not show pictures games etc on WAP surfing.
China only has a small portion of phones which use java. from what I was reading in regards to ZTC largest mobile manufacturer in China. The java platform is just being negotiated with Sun Java.
As regards to themes, on my phone I presume as you can’t change message alerts other than the presets that all the themes etc are embedded in the firmware.

Hey yeah guys.. Last week i’ve been in china n after a long research about these fake nokia n nokla n95, i’ve been knowing not so much but i’ll still tell you a bit.. First of all the default password for the phones are 1122, secondly about the sim restarting problems, u know its all about network, chinese mobile have put there own configurations in these mobiles, therefore before using your phone, start it without sim and reset factory default.. delete all network configurations and then put your sim and start your phone.. if the problem continues then try putting your sim in another mobile phone and reset factory default for the other phone.. then put the sim again in the nokia or nokLa.. Anyway im tired typing friends.. In case of any further informations just add me on your messengers.. Till possiblem i’ll guide you step by step.. Mine N95 takes NES games (nintendo entertainment system)you can look for game roms on the net and put them in the MyNes folder on your memory card if you have one.
As for the internet, Wap2 is what it uses. There are different ways GSM (G1) the old dialup net access charged by the minute/second. GPRS (G2) GPRS connection charged by the Kb download.
You need to enter your settings for your network which differ for network and country.
sometimes your provider will send your settings through a text message.

If the phone didn’t come with the folder then it doesn’t have the emulator.
The emulator must be in the firmware, I have added nothing to the phone.
There are alot of different N95 mobiles so they are probably different.
My phone was for sale in China only and was not sold as a N95 Clone.
