  1. Ken says:

I ordered an invisible shield myself, but after seeing this:

I no longer think it’s necessary. In fact, the tester was FAR more aggressive without protection than the review was with protection.

In addition because of the way the multi touch screen works, (static touch not pressure touch) the invisible shield might actually impair proper performace. Not to mention Apple EXPLICITLY says “no solvents” should be used on the iphone screen. Invisible shield requires a bottle of “something” to be used for proper application. Because of these 2 downsides, and not much upside. I vote no.

    Just my 2 cents

PS I actually might use the back portion of the invisible shield to protect the rear of the iphone from cosmetic scuffs but that’s about it.

  2. As a designer for invisible SHIELD. I can guarantee that the invisible SHIELD does not effect the functionality of the iPhone’s touch screen and further more the solution is in no way harmful to the iPhone.

  3. Ken: The invisibleSHIELD is the best case for the iPhone, hands down. It is easy to install and is not bulky like other silicone cases. Don’t forget the lifetime warranty. Check out my full review here. My readers love the invisibleSHIELD!
