bildesamsunglol Goodbye Moto; Samsung nabs 2nd place in global market share from MotorolaWith a littler over 37 million Samsung units shipped this quarter, 1-2 million more than Motorola (NYSE: MOT), the Korean company has taken the number two position in global sales of mobile phones. Sony Ericsson (NYSE: SNE) sold around 25 million headsets and in about 3 weeks we will know if Nokia (NYSE: NOK) broke the 100 million mark or not.

Chris from Engadget thinks Nokia should be looking over its shoulders, on the contrary, I think Samsung should since Sony Ericsson is gaining fast.
