i2 launches wireless cybercaféDubai’s carrier Largest mobile distributor in the Middle East and Africa i2 has launched a new kind of cybercafé and flagship digital store at BurJuman to offer its shoppers new level of interactivity with the latest tech gizmos. For instance, customers can place orders via mobile phones provided on each table, access various mobile services, free Internet connection, as well as up to the minute news and information on mobile devices.

Yeah, they may be lacking that fancy Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) Table aka Project Milan, which T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) is planning to integrate in its outlets, but this sounds promising nevertheless. For one thing, I hate being pitched on and on at the local mobile phone stores — i.e. if my carrier launches this kind of store, they would give me the option to sell to myself, and that would consequently results in higher satisfaction level on both sides. :)

I2 for your reference is not a carrier.
I2 is a distributor, value added reseller, also publishes a mobile dedicated magazine and the first ever mobile dedicated TV station, but never a carrier, at least not until now.
