Motorola i290 does iDEN in style - slim(ish) candybar for the iDEN network

Motorola (NYSE: MOT)’s gettin’ all styled up with their newest iDEN handset - the Motorola i290. Other than the i830, this thing is as slim and sleek as you get for iDEN phones. With a slim candybar form factor, this PTT (Push-to-Talk) phenom is everything past iDEN handsets weren’t - fashionably sleek. With the Motrola i290, you no longer have to make any more excuses to your friends about your Nextel-compatible phone being durable or reliable.

The phone looks like my motorola cordless home telephone..huhuhu
Still way better than the older Moto iDEN phones
I should know, I’ve had my fair share of iDEN phones through the years.
I am in colombia, I would like knowing if I can buy one i 290 with you to activate her in my country, all that would cost me.
i sell all nextel parts in China, please check my website http://www.sinawireless.net/
i love this phone because i got it and its the best phone that i ever had and i wanna say thank you for th creation
the modem on the i290 is it just dial up broadband or can i make it faster
Juan, at best, you can expect dialup speeds. IDEN networks don’t support more.
I don’t see how this is a better phone. The i425 was much more stylish, the same thickness and has pretty much the exact same internals.
