500,000 people in the UK are enjoying T-Mobile’s unlimited dataplan

I really can’t stress enough how awesome it is to have the entire world’s repository of information in your trousers. Bar fights about conflicting information can be stopped by fact checking with Google (NSDQ: GOOG). Sending your friends and family full blown movies and pictures (none of that MMS garbage) is easy. Downloading podcasts, watching youtube, do whatever you want because you have more information available in the palm (NSDQ: PALM) of your hand than the local library in your town that you probably never bothered checking out.
Half a million people are enjoying T-Mobile (NYSE: DT)’s Web ‘n’ Walk service in the UK, are you enjoying unlimited data in your country?

In the US of A you can get Unlimited GPRS/EDGE on T-Mob for $6 – it’s only on your phone though. Some people say T-Mob is blocking HTTP browsing on handsets but that doesn’t seem to be the problem in Chicago
I’ve been using the hell out of Cingular’s (slow) unlimited network for years now- and I agree, completely amazing to be able to have all of that information in your pocket at all times. My data usage is out of control…
Checked my data usage on my final T-mo bill – 200+MB downloaded.
Wow, if I hadn’t gotten the unlimited data plan, I would have been looking at a crazy bill.
I’ve been known to pull several GB in a month.
