Recently, I’ve spotted an interesting Samsung handset that works on both CDMA and GSM networks. Immediately, I saw a bestselling device for users in U.S. and Canada, who need such device when traveling to Europe. However, Samsung doesn’t seem to share my vision — or they may have a better one? The Samsung i839 is phone made specially for China to support both standards that work in the world’s most populated country. Beside two different radios, the i839 also has a 2.4″ QVGA touchscreen, 2 MP camera, and a Linux core — all packed in a stylish slider phone factor that measures 101×52.5×19.9 mm and weighs 125 grams. Kinda bulky for Samsung, but hey, you want to roam or not?
