
It took them 3 years to sell the first 10 million Symbian based devices in Japan and only a year to sell the next batch of 10 million. That is how well Symbian is doing in Japan thanks to 60 devices being available, the SO704i being the most recent. Shipments grew 30% 1Q 2007 compared to 4Q2006 yet Japan only counts for 25% of Symbian shipments.
