T-mobile offering unlimited SMS and MMS package for $10

First myFaves, now this. T-mobile (NYSE: DT) is definitely all about giving the consumer the best bang-for-buck wireless service in the country. Subscribers to T-mo’s myFaves service now have access to unlimited SMS text and MMS messages for just $9.99 a month! Those not subscribed to T-mo’s myFaves service will have to pony up $14.99 for the unlimited package, but with other carriers (cough..AT&T (NYSE: T)..cough) offering 1,500 SMS text (and no MMS) messages for $10, the $14.99 price point is still quite a bargain.

The promotion is set to run through September 12th, so get online or call your T-mobile rep. and sign up for this package.
This sure is a fitting promotion to celebrate the 15th birthday of SMS!

Unlimited SMS is no good when access to SMS codes is blocked. As of now (mid-December 2007), T-Mobile is blocking access to the Twitter SMS code, and basically telling customers that if they don’t like it, they have to pay $200 to get out of their contract. Yeah, T-Mobile is “giving the consumer” something, all right…
T-mobile is back apparently
