Forget unlimited SMS text message plans from your carrier – you still have to pay for the unlimited package. Let’s see, what could be better than paying for text messages. Maybe, not paying for text messages! At least we think so.

The IntoMobile Team is proud to introduce our new Facebook widget – we like to call it “TextMe.” Get your Facebook account in gear and grab our new TextMe widget for your profile. Whenever your Facebook friends feel like shooting you an SMS text message, all they have to do is hit your profile page and use our TextMe app to send you a free text message.

We’ve already hit 1,000 users and TextMe is growing its user-base every day! Keep in touch with your social network, even while your on the road. Check out TextMe today.

We’re working to develop even more features into our TextMe widget – reply to text messages from your mobile phone and send group text messages. So keep an eye out!

  7. Ok cool..

Well so far I haven’t got it working in the UK.
All mobile numbers in the UK have 11 digits.
They all start with 07 or +447 if you’re outside the UK.
The box in the ‘text me’ app only allows for 10 digits.

Looking forward to you guys fixing this – definitely something I would use… (well – my friends will use!)

  8. Calvin Chan says:

Really? I thought UK has only ten digit too.. a friend of mine tried out the app in facebook and it sent him a text message. his number starts with 07 too and he is using Telenor Sweden as a provider.

I will definitely look into it.
