Manage real estate leads on your iPhone

Here’s another vertical market that is now supported on the iPhone. Real estate technology company “a la mode” optimized its Agent XSites software for the iPhone, allowing real estate agents to manage website leads directly on their shiny new handset. To put it in other words, the real estate agents equipped with an iPhone will be able to get the complete information for all their leads, set call back reminders, route and assign leads — directly from the iPhone, while on-the-go. Basically, “a la mode” just optimized the existing web interface to suit the large touchscreen of Apple’s handset. Still, I find it interesting that another vertical market app has been optimized for an iPhone. Plus, the real estate technology company promised to deliver more of their products to the iPhone users…

Another company that has optimized their products for iPhone is RealOrganized, Inc’s RealtyJuggler Desktop. Lets hope this is the start of trend and we see more and more real estate web sites optimized in this way. I think it will be especially useful to see tax databases and MLS’s to have their web access optimized. Would just love to be able to do a quick live MLS search while in my car with a a client. I can just imagine showing a client a virtual tour BEFORE wasting 20 minutes to see a home. I think it will save me tons of time.

Wow, accessing MLS this way is simply too cool. I have to rethink my hesitation at springing for an iPhone.

This is a great tool for real estate brokers. For the home buyer, our company provides a complementary tool called Puluwai. Puluwai provides mobile real estate search for iPhone and the Google Android platform (puluwai.com).
It’s exciting to see how these mobile phone applications are starting to change the way people buy and sell real estate.
