Samsung and Adidas teaming up to release SGH-F110 handset for exercising

If Levi’s can do it, why wouldn’t Adidas? Apparently the famous German sports equipment makers has teamed-up with Samsung to make an Adidas-branded phone. As expected, the new slider handset is dedicated to sports fanatics who need such tools as pedometer, heart rate monitor and distance/calories burning calculator – easily accessible through dedicated buttons. Plus, there’s the built-in music player to keep you entertained while exercising. Other specs of the Adidas phone (SGH-F110) include quad-band GSM and EDGE connectivity, 2″ screen, Bluetooth 2.0, a 2 MP camera, and microSD expansion slot.
Now when we’re on the subject of sports-oriented phones, Nokia (NYSE: NOK) could do the similar thing — partner with some popular sports equipment maker — and releases the co-branded 5500 phone. Seems reasonable, what do you think?

Hallo,
finde ich wirklich interessant was sich Samsung und adidas da einfallen lassen haben. Sicherlich ist das Handy kein Kracher, dürfte aber mit seinen Features was besonderes sein.
