Remember Glide, the online operating system that also works on mobile phones, include the iPhone? Well, they’ve just added Windows Media Audio and Video support to the Apple (NSDQ: AAPL)’s handset. To be honest, I’m not quite sure how this works — my guess is that they somehow convert the audio and video clips to an appropriate file format which iPhone can read.
In total, Glide Mobile now supports 8 audio and 8 video formats for the iPhone, including .wmv, .mpg, .mpeg, .avi, .divx, .mov, .mp4 and .3gp on video; and .wma .wav, .au, .mp3, .m4a, .aiff, .aac and .ac3 on the audio side. The maker of the online OS also said that all supported formats include EDGE and WiFi network version. In the other news, we keep encouraging you to watch video on WiFi connection only…

Why don’t just use PC convertor?
Yeah, that’s also the valid option, but this is solution while on-the-go.
