The Sand-labs project is potentially foolhardy if not misguided - Sand-labs should be collaborating rather than ploughing their own furrow. Sand-labs have even forked from the main WebKit trunk with no merge back to trunk in sight, which is also pretty foolish as they are now on their own. I'm not expecting this project to succeed or ignite much interest given the way it is currently being run and in light of the recent Mozilla release (which is actually very stable for a Beta release).
