Vodafone to launch BlackBerry Pearl 2 in September?

Blue BlackBerry Pearl 2So, it’s not just AT&T who will get the privilege to carry the successor of the popular Pearl. Apparently, Vodafone also counts on revenues from push-email addicts, but also from other non-smartphone users who find Pearl’s look and functionality appealing.

At this stage, we don’t have any official word neither from RIM nor from Vodafone, hence it’s still in a rumor stage. We also don’t know whether Vodafone will carry the RIM’s device only in the UK, or across all the markets where it operates. We’ll have to wait and see…
