iPhones can now directly upload to .Mac web gallery

Send to Web Gallery from iPhoneBeside the standard “Use as Wallpaper,” “Email Photo” and “Assign to Contact,” your iPhone can now send image to the Web gallery (option “Send to Web Gallery”) without any additional update or software. Apparently, beside fixing Safari’s security holes, the earlier 1.0.1 update also brought this option, yet set it up so that it’s turned on after the new .Mac is announced.

In order to get the new option, you’ll need to restart your iPhone first. After that, you’ll probably need the .Mac account in order to upload your photo — at least that’s what TUAW’s Dave Caolo suggests. Too bad it doesn’t support other image sharing sites…
