In order to appeal to the (I guess) younger females, LG has launched the Colorholic slider phone in Korea. The idea is to make the phone available in 14 colors so that even the pickiest female cellphone users can find the one which fits with their style.

As we don’t have the complete specs sheet, I find it hard to justify such high price of $430 for a phone that sports only the basic phone features, plus MP3 player, PIM software and text to speech engine. Maybe if a domestic carrier (i.e. SK Telecom) subsidize it heavily, it could sell well. Otherwise, for four hundred bucks you can get much more than a colorful feature phone.

Check out more photos after the jump.
