Alltel to offer content from MTV Network

Alltel to offer content from MTV NetworkSo, it’s not just Verizon who is teaming-up with MTV. Alltel also wants a piece of the action, and they’ve announced a deal with the popular network for youth to include mobile video, wap content, games and personalization features from MTV.

According to the deal, Alltel customers will soon be able to download video clips from MTV’s properties such as COMEDY CENTRAL, MTV, Nickelodeon, VH1, CMT, The N, Spike TV, MTV Tr3s, GameTrailers.com and IFILM. In terms of wap content, the carrier will offer mobile web sites from COMEDY CENTRAL, MTV and VH1access. Finally, games and personalization features from hit franchises such as COMEDY CENTRAL’s Emmy and “South Park,” MTV’s “The Hills,” and Nickelodeon’s “SpongeBob SquarePants” will also be accessible on capable Alltel phones.
