While Windows Mobile users got the chance to taste fring just recently, the VoIP and IM application was present on Symbian devices for long time — actually it gained its popularity on Symbian devices that run Nokia’s S60 platform, while the UIQ version has been announced a month ago. And now, they’ve added ICQ to the list of supported clients, allowing us to see all our ICQ buddies integrated into your fring contact list together with your Skype, MSN Messenger, Google Talk and regular phonebook contacts. Neat, huh?
In order to use the new feature, download latest version of fring, jump to Options –> Settings –> Configure Services, scroll down to select ICQ. Add your ICQ number and password, and that’s it – you’re ready to roll.
