Sprint has made available an entry level LG LX160 clamshell, obviously targeting first time mobile phone buyers. Although for some reason it lacks camera, the LG LX160 packs all the basic phone features plus Bluetooth and handsfree calling support. Plus, you can hook up it with your computer, with the phone acting as a modem — the lack of 3G makes me wonder why would anyone do this.
Anyway, the LG LX160 is the perfect beginner’s phone and could be yours from nothing on a 2-year plan to $170 sans any contract. The latter makes sense for frequent travellers to the States, which don’t have a CDMA handset — or for those hard-core debt-free type of people.

The "convergence" is what he's most excited about, and writing about it is the next logical thing to do. He thinks that using a smartphone is what everyone who cares about their time should do.
In addition to his interests in mobile phones, Dusan also loves to experiment with the latest web and mobile 2.0 services. The idea of accessing and managing your information from any device no matter where you are simply amazes him. Whether it's an online to-do list, note taking service or a video sharing social network, he's there to try it out. He admits though, he's still searching for the ultimate web-based organizational tool, which "sings" perfectly with the mobile PIM application.
