Telus releases Fastap-equipped ZTE D90

While it’s not exactly known by its handset business, we have seen several phones coming from the China’s largest listed telecommunications equipment provider. Now, Telus (NYSE: TU) released ZTE’s Fastap-equipped D90 clamshell to accommodate (I guess) the frequent users of the text messaging service. As you can see from the image above, the ZTE D90 hides the full QWERTY keyboard alongside the standard numeric keypad under the flip. I’m not quite sure how this functions in the real world, but DigitWireless — creator of the Fastap keypad technology — promises the overall faster and simple phone usage.
Anyway, if you’re much into text messaging and are already on Telus, this device may be the one for you. It looks decent and is available from $79.99 CDN ($76) on a 3-year contract.

The only problem with this phone is that I have to set it to Vibrate at least 20 times a day.
If you use the phone at all throughout the day, it cancels the vibrate automatically.
It’s too bad, because the phone is pretty awesome otherwise.
thanks for the information
