Bell Canada launches Samsung U740

By Dusan Belic on Saturday, August 11th, 2007 at 5:59 AM PST In Announcements, Bell Mobility, Devices, Samsung

Samsung U740Besides Verizon Wireless in the States, Bell Canada also decided to please its subscribers who crave for the QWERTY keyboard equipped handset, yet don’t like the BlackBerrys. Hence, they’ve launched Samsung U740, the dual flip phone which offers much more than a convenient way to send text messages — there’s stereo Bluetooth support, 1.3 MP camera with digital zoom and flash, dedicated touch-sensitive music control keys, and microSD expansion slot. Furthermore, the Samsung U740 supports Bell Canada’s high-speed network – meaning you’ll be able to download all the mobile goodies pretty quickly.

Interested? Prepare to pay anything from $149.95 CAD with a 3-year plan to $379.95 CAD sans any contract. While it may sound not that cheap, you’ll get quite decent music phone with full QWERTY keyboard, and that’s what you’ve wanted, right?
