The unofficial iPhone eBook Reader

I find it strange that Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) haven’t included some kind of an ebook reader on the iPhone. The fact that the iPhone has a large 3.5″ screen is the good enough reason for anyone to read on its beloved handset while commuting (in case he/she’s using the public transportation).
iPhone hackers also noticed that, and voila… we have the unofficial iPhone eBook Reader! At this stage it can only read HTML and text files stored in the “media/EBooks” folder, but it’s smart enough to recognize subfolders in case a book is broken down by chapters.
What are you waiting for? Here’s the download link. Plus, you can read instructions how to add eBooks from here.

Reader has been my default book app on my iPhone. Free public library + add your own books free… can’t beat that http://dbelement.com/apps/reader
