MLB to provide one-click access to MLB.com to BlackBerry users

Until RIM released Pearl and then Curve afterwards, I’ve envisioned BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) owners using their handsets almost exclusively for business purposes. However, after the introduction of more beautiful devices I found BlackBerrys a valid all-day multi-purpose devices, competing head-to-head with other mobile platforms — truth to be said, I remain Symbian OS fan.
The Major League Baseball (MLB) must be thinking between the same lines, and now they’re working with RIM to provide users with one-click access to MLB.com. The process should work like a charm — all you have to do is click on the “Put this icon on your BlackBerry home screen” link, although I haven’t noticed it on the MLB’s homepage. Guess MLB knows who the true addicts are…
