The Beyonce-themed phone is coming

Beyonce themed Samsung Upstage SGH F300We love the old snail-mail-based, tree-killing news delivery system known as the “newspaper.” Yea, remember those things? Well, when the New York times “reports” that Beyonce will be coming out with a “Beyoncé-themed phone,” it makes it just that much harder to actually trust the ancient news-outlet to bring us timely “news.”

Wow, you don’t say! We’d love a Beyoncé-themed phone. Hopefully it’ll be made by Samsung, feature dual screens, and also be a musicphone. Oh, and it would be cool if they named it the Samsung Ultra Music SGH-F300, then rename it as the Samsung “UpStage,”  and then  release it on Sprint in Red.

Thanks for the heads up, NYT. But, we get the feeling that the Beyoncé is just the spokesperson for the UpStage – it’s not a “Beyoncé-themed phone.”

    Good one. On my recent trip to Poland I saw this phone advertised on TV constantly. At first I was quite shocked to see that it exists in GSM flavour and after a quick Googling I found out it’s SGH-F300…a mirror image of UpStage CDMA version (for the record I DO NOT LIKE CDMA – I’m a PRO CHOICE – as in GSM). Again unfortunately Samsung released it only as a tri-band device so it cripples it a bit for the US user. On the other hand that phone is NOT that expensive.. It runs around $250 – $300 for unlocked version. And for the record it is indeed advertised on tv by Beyonce x 2… One Beyonce listens to the music and the second one talks on the phone. Then they bump into each other on the street, the phone and the player fall to the ground, hit each other and merge into one device. Catchy advert…and it comes preloaded with some B-songs

    so u like the phone cuz im thinkin about buying it but its cheaper n the internet than to buy it in the stores but let me no how much u like it. we have the same name lol.
