LG KU990 YouTube Phone gets picked up by Vodafone

Remember that LG KU990 YouTube Phone? You know, the one that reminds of the LG “Dominator” but without the Windows Mobile OS. Well, the HSDPA and 5 megapixel camera-packing LG KU990 YouTube Phone looks to be bringing all that full-YouTube goodness to Vodafone (NYSE: VOD)’s network. The latest live pics of the LG KU990 sheds some light on the actual size of the device – that awesome 5-megapixel camera with Xenon flash, HSDPA, FM radio, stereo Buetooth, and 3 inch touchscreen are all stuffed into a fairly svelte 103.5 x 54.4 x 14.8 mm package. The iPhone competitor’s midsection is 3mm thicker than the iPhone’s, but shaves off 10mm from it’s length and 5mm from it’s width.
The live shots clearly show that the device is headed for Vodafone (they’re so lucky) and will integrate high-end optics from Schneider-Kreuznach in the 5 megapixel camera. We’d love to get a shot at using this phone in The States, but that might just be hopeful thinking at this point. Man, this thing is sexy.
Which reminds us. The LG KE850 “Dominator” is slated to be released next month in Europe. We’ll keep you updated. Stay tuned!

hi i got the LG ku990(vodafone) unblocked from a vodafone shop and use an orange sim card.orange sent me update settings so i can use mms and access the web on the orange network.the message they sent says phone needs mms/apn and browser/apn and gives me the option to install. THE PROBLEM it asks for a pin number and 3 chances to get it right. what is this pin, how can i get it.i called orange but thay could,nt help. does anyone know how i can sort this out please. i want to use my phone to do what it was made for. T-mobile and cingular are the 2 carrier that you can us the Ku990 phone with but you can’t use the Video calling though

i was recently bought an lg ku990 (viewty), i have a vodafone sim but nobody seems to be able to tell me or send me the setting so that i can mms and browse on the internet!! does anyone know where i can get them from? i called vodafone and they say that they dont have the settings and even tried the lg website but it doesnt seem to have an option to ask a question!!! I really hope someone can help me!!!
I am in the same position i need the settings for the phones but the 02 settings does any body know these or a site that has them??
