T-Mobile set to add three new colors to BlackBerry Pearl lineup

Hot on the heels of the news that T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) will be busting out with the WiFi totin’ BlackBerry 8320, T-Mobile has announced plans to introduce three new colors for its BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) Pearl lineup. The “String of Pearls” will hit T-Mobile on September 4 as the gold, blue, and red versions of the first-generation BlackBerry Pearl. What better way to breathe life into an older model than to re-release it with some snazzy new colors.

Boy Genius reports that there won’t be anything new under the hoods of the new colorful Pearls, but how can you say “no” to a Gold Pearl? Pricing is not yet known, but you can bet that the new colors won’t come free with contract.
