Nokia N95 8GB coming to UK before Christmas?

Wow, that would be awesome — at least for citizens of the UK. Other parts of Europe would follow soon, I guess…
Anyway, at this stage we have no official word from the Finish handset manufacturer whether this is true or not — apparently, this information comes from one of the UK networks and somehow it makes sense. After all, the time before Christmas is the best-selling season for most products, handsets included. C’mon Nokia (NYSE: NOK) – do it! We all wait for the better version of the N95 with more storage and more RAM. And then, make it available throughout Europe, Asia and the rest of the “GSM world!”

And then in the USA!!! I have a feeling this version of N95 will incorporate all the upgrades coming out in the US version, but with a whopping 8Gb of storage.
yepp, it does.
Not sure about UK, but definite yes for Asia.
It would be nice to see a 480×640 screen resolution since it can record video in 640×480.
Not only that if it was this would mean the new symbian games would be avaiable in the higher resolution.
And it would kick the iphones video displaying capablities, It looks nice but its a ipod with a cheap shite 2 year old phone attached and a decent res screen
I personally like the iPhone… and as a Mac-user I was very excited about its release, despite it not including MMS messaging and the ability to bluetooth files to and from itself, and having a very basic camera… however as soon as I saw the price plans I gave up on it… I was sure I’d buy one until that point… I mean £35 for 200 messages and 200 minutes?! WTF?! And thats after you shell out £269 for the phone!!
Still, I’d have happily paid for the phone if I could’ve kept my existing deal and added £10 p/m for the data package like with the o2 Blackberry.
Personally I think Apple would’ve made more money releasing the phone on all networks, all tarrifs and also by selling the iphone sim-free on their website.
A huge chunk of potential buyers will be put off by the rip-off iphone tariffs, just as I have been, and where will they end up?
Nokia N95 8GB… thats where.
Been Sony Ericsson for a few years now… but I struggle to find good reviews of the P1i online, so I think I may go back to Nokia for the first time since my 6230!
When is this phone going to be available on UK contract?
